Fun times, Fun Times

How many weeks ago couple friends and I went to play outside. We had a lot of fun. Here's a Picture of us piggy-backing each other. That day we slid, layed in the snow, and played with snow. We took a lot of pictures. We laughed and talked a lot. I wish time can go back to that day. It was cold out and snowing. The snow was like cotton or silk really soft. There was snow going in our shoes and clothes. Well, I had fun that day and I hope it snows out there soon.

Akiuk Memorial School Is The Best!

I really love having school here at Akiuk Memorial. I think it's really fun having school here. Almost everyone gets along. It's a small school not too big and not that many students. The teachers are so great and also our principal Mr. W! Akiuk Memorial isn't like any other school I think it's the best. I think Akiuk Memorial is a good school because there's caring teacher and we have a loving principal.

Visitor In Kasigluk

There was a visitor this past summer. A Muskox came to Akula. Some person anounced on the VHF and there were a lot of fourwheelers racing to Fox Lake. They were chasing the muskox, but it kept running and hiding. It went in the trees and hid behind trees. I even went close by it. I was really scared and was trying to take some pictures of the muskox. I kept missing it because it kept running away, but I got a good shot! It's like every summer we have a visitor. Two years ago there was a moose here in Akiuk. I guess Im expecting to see another one next year:D

Thankful For...

The first thing I'm thankful for is our Lord above, for eveything he has done for us. Secondly, I'm thankful for my mom. She has done a lot of things for me. She takes good care of me, wakes me up in the mornings, and makes sure I'm OK. I'm also thankful for my friends for being there when I need them the most. Ummm...last but not least I'm thankful for my dad for bringing me to school in the mornings. Well, that's all I'm thankful for:D

Pretty Girl

My sister's daughter is so cute and pretty! Her name is Andrea Inez Paningaq Kassel. She was a flower girl at Nicole and Curtis Kassel's wedding. Andrea was wearing a light blue qaspeq with little circles on it. She's fun to hang out with:D She never stops talking; she'll go on and on about something. She has a big smile in that picture right there. Well, i just wanted to write about someone who's really beautiful:D Andrea's my niece.

Toksook Bay

Last summer I went to Toksook Bay for cross country. The high schoolers ran maybe a 3k. Ooh man! It was really long! My legs were hurting from going up and down hills and I was aching all over. There were a lot of high school runners. I was the last one to reach the finish line. It was kind of embarrassing, but then it was all worth it. After all that running, we went to the fiddle dance and to the community center where they had Eskimo dancing. They were both fun but kind of boring at the same time. Well, I don't think I'm again to Toksook to run again. Too long and hard!:)
